Dental chair whitening is a professional whitening method carried out with high percentage hydrogen peroxides applied to the teeth with a lamp by specialized personnel in a dental office. The light sources of the lamp release water and active oxygen and speed up the action of the oxidizing substances contained within the whitening gel that penetrates the innermost layers of the teeth, lightening the pigmentations and bleaching the yellowed enamel. The lights diffused by the lamp can be of different types: laser, plasma or halogen light. The difference lies in the degree of intensity and propagation of light with respect to the teeth of both arches. The result is exceptional: just one hour’s session is enough to restore the teeth to their natural color and make them whiter and brighter.
